What did Kefron need?
Kefron is a leading document management specialist – handling both physical and digital hosted documents for many private and public sector bodies.
Kefron had a security challenge as a result of a fragmented security strategy. They had a number of different solutions in place doing similar things meaning the IT team was spending significant time managing multiple applications. Their core problem was based in Unified Identity and Device Management across their mobile estate.
CWSI demonstrated through a review process that many of the tools Kefron was investing in were already in place within their Microsoft license bundle. A roadmap was created to create a more seamless identity management platform and also a device management platform. This was achieved through the Microsoft 365 Business Skew to also introduce a cost-saving by removing the need for other superfluous third-party security solutions.
What did CWSI do?
Kefron extended its footprint into the Microsoft 365 world. CWSI helped Kefron move its identity into the cloud, meaning deployment of new devices, endpoint security, and sign-on have all been migrated to one single pane of glass.
As now-defunct encryption, spam, and other security technologies were removed the process for IT in managing their end-points became much simpler as well as cheaper for the business.
CWSI assisted Kefron with migrating all users across to Intune. There was a trial period of two weeks to configure and test and then all users were rolled out with only a single user issue appearing. This work was all carried out remotely during the Covid-19 lockdown of March 2020.
